TOP THREE:

My top three Ways of Knowing, are ways I consider the most impersonal. My criteria in choosing is based simply on least reliance upon emotion, in other words the least amount of human bias.

Empirical: This way of knowing is the most absolute and concrete of all 12. It can be considered unbiased, in the sense that it is based not on opinion but solely
evidence and data, assuming of course that all results are accurate or acquired by valid means. The empirical way of knowing is the only way of
knowing that is relatively unaffected my emotion.

Logic: Knowledge which is based upon sound reasoning and thinking is extremely accurate is the logic is not false or untrue. It is more concerned with emotion
than empirical, but is still very reliable in determining and deducing answers as well as knowledge from questions.

Memory: Of the top three this Way of Knowing has the weakest argument. It relies less heavily on emotion than the other nine ways of knowing yet is still very basic and elementary in nature. The ability to recall information is vital in almost every situation that occurs. Memory is also something over
which, to a certain extent, we have no control over. Of course some people have the ability to retain extreme amounts of knowledge and others have the ability to recall minute details. However, the majority of "us" do not have either of these abilities and are also prone to fabrications of the mind.

Examples of Truth-

1. A truth I agree with would be the existence of natural rights. These are rights which are unalienable. They exist on the basis of universality and relative independence from individual customs, societies and beliefs. Any authority that proclaims these as truth, can be considered correct.

2.A truth I disagree with would be the existence of God. The existence of a omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient being is believed to be truth by the authority of a church. In my opinion there is no justification to support this truth. I have no empirical knowledge of the existence of this supernatural being, therefore, in my mind it does not exist.
